The Easter Bunny brought some pretty exciting features to Advanced Web Ranking. We're introducing a revamped SERP Volatility report, the brand-new Keyword Changes report, more flexible user access rights, the Perplexity AI search engine, and more.

So let’s get right into it – use the sidebar on the right to jump to a particular update.

SERP Volatility

Formerly known as the Top Sites in Time report, its core utility has been kept, making it an even more powerful tool in your SERP analysis arsenal with these newly added options:

- SERP URL Changes. Easily detect major ranking shifts and filter URLs based on whether they improved, declined, remained stable, appeared, or dropped from the search results.

- Volatility Trend. Get a clear view of how stable or dynamic a keyword's SERP has been over time.

Keyword Changes

  • Prioritize your SEO efforts by instantly identifying the keywords with the highest volatility.

  • Correlate the YoY or MoM ranking shifts with the search performance metrics.

  • Evaluate the potential traffic impact of those ranking shifts.

Custom Permissions for Users

You can easily enable or disable access for each user across four categories: Project Management, Features Access, Billing & Account Resources, and Team Permissions.

Perplexity AI Search Engine

Perplexity AI is now available as a new search engine option for the US market. The results retrieved by AWR are Perplexity's cited URLs in Sources. The resources consumed for tracking these rankings are the same as those of any other search engine, meaning it is treated as a search engine unit in AWR.
