AWR Cloud has just been updated! Today’s release includes several improvements and bug fixes, as well as some major changes to our Google Webmaster Tools section. Let’s see what’s new:

  • Unlimited Reports

Following a series of performance improvements behind-the-scenes, AWR Cloud now offers an unlimited number of reports, for all account types, including trials!

If you didn’t already know, AWR Cloud offers an extensive SEO reporting system:

  • PDF, HTML or CSV reports
  • quick reports for almost all UI sections or customizable multi-section reports
  • competitor reports
  • Google AdWords, Analytics and Search Console (Webmaster Tools) metrics
  • 100% white labelling options
  • easy to share via email or direct application access for colleagues and customers
  • report automation using personalized scheduling settings

  • Improved Google Webmaster Tools Metrics

The updated feature can be found in the Playground – Google Webmaster Tools section of AWR Cloud, under the Keywords tab. The second tab is the existing Google Webmaster Tools Statistics menu, that has not been changed. In case you missed it, you can read more about it here.

But let’s get back to keyword metrics! Following Google’s latest changes, AWR Cloud now pulls GWT metrics using their official API, in a new format. We are picking up impressions, clicks, average position and CTR information split by device from here on, while historical keyword metrics remain unchanged.

This data is very similar to what webmasters are now seeing in the Search Console – the Search Analytics view, and you can read the official details here.

But what to do with the new data?

Besides the existing information, AWR Cloud adds one extra metric for you: Clicks Opportunity. This keyword-specific value, calculated using a proprietary formula, offers insights on keyword performance based on GWT metrics.

Basically, a higher Clicks Opportunity score will help you pinpoint search terms that can drive a lot more traffic than they do now, if you were to better optimize your pages around them. That’s gotta come in handy!

  • Legacy Report Colours Are Back!

Since a lot of our users were fond of the original, light gray, colour theme for the printable reports, this option has been added as a new Brand Template – Legacy Colours, next to the default dark gray colour scheme and the other five choices.

Open your Brand Templates menu, create a new Legacy brand template and you can now personalize your reports with the new, lighter, colours!
