It’s been almost 2 months since we released the new AWR Cloud online rank checker and we are already preparing to roll out a new and improved version, thanks to all your suggestions. Simplified navigation, better work space organization and improved responsive design are just some of the goodies you’ll find inside.
Let’s take a closer look at what’s new in AWR Cloud 2.0:
1. Vertical navigation
To simplify the navigation and give you more room to work with your data, we switched from the top menus to the vertical menu bar. This way, with AWR Cloud 2.0 you will have all the features and tools you’ve grown used to, but with easier access to the main sections and features.
Vertical navigation will also help you switch more easily between different websites, or quickly access the tools you need from each menu.
If you manage a large number of websites with the AWR Cloud, you can navigate faster to the one you need by typing its name in the top filter box.
2. Improved responsive design
With the new version redesign, we also improved the responsiveness to help you see more data, regardless of your screen size. Here is how the [Search Engine Overview] report will look like if you want to check your rankings from a mobile device.
To display the vertical menu and navigate to a different report, simply click on the top – left [Settings] button and the menu will appear.
Now that we’ve seen how the new design looks like, it’s time to check the new tools and feature enhancements.
3. Introducing Google Analytics integration
The new AWR Cloud version allows you combine traffic details with keyword rankings. This will help you better understand the efficiency of each keyword you are targeting, by comparing its ranking position side-by-side to the number of visitors it drives to your website each month.
To add your Google Analytics account in the AWR Cloud, navigate to your project and open the [Settings] menu. Here, select the [Analytics] tab and authorize the AWR Cloud to retrieve the traffic data from your Google Analytics account.
Once you setup your Google Analytics account, you can easily identify your best performing keywords in the [Rankings] – [Website Overview] screen.
4. New filters and sorting options
To help you focus more on your progress, AWR Cloud 2.0 comes with new filters and sorting options. This enables you to display in your reports only the data that matters most to you.
For example, you will be able to create a report only with the keywords for which your website ranks in Top 10, and sort the data by search engine position. You can do all these by editing the report template:
Then you can easily save the changes and start sharing new reports with your clients online. To share a report, simply click on the [Send Now] button in the report templates list, or you can send it automatically by selecting a reporting frequency inside the related template.
5. Export to CSV
In the new version of the AWR Cloud, we also added the ability to export rankings in CSV format.
To export your rankings from the AWR Cloud, navigate to [Settings] – [Exports] and create a new export. In the newly opened wizard, select the websites, ranking results and the date range for which you want to generate the export.
Once it is generated, the CSV export will be marked accordingly in the [Exports] tab. Now you can retrieve the data by clicking on the export name. This will download a ZIP archive containing the CSV file with all the data you need.
This is how the export file will look like:
This way, you will be able to import the data from AWR Cloud to your own in-house reporting tools and enjoy the benefits of accurate localized rankings.
