Advanced Web Ranking gathers and stores ranking data every time a project is updated. You can initiate an update either from the Update menu or by clicking on the little down arrow on the right side of the Update toolbar button. There are four possible types of updates:

The last option (which is the default option when you press on the update button) updates only the search engines and keywords that have not been updated on the current day.

After each update, the reports selected in the Update Settings section of the Project Preferences will be automatically generated.
