Topic: Google Custom Search API

I sent this as a support ticket, but figured I should post here as well incase anyone else has the same question:

We have setup the MSN API no problem.  However, it looks as if you're still using the Google AJAX API, which is depreciated.  The new Custom Search API is what we want to use.  We would like to sign up and use it, so we can pay for api queries.  We're hoping this will be a method to get rankings without repercussions.

Here's a link to the Custom Search API:   http://code.google.com/apis/customsearc … rview.html

Re: Google Custom Search API

Actually, nevermind.  The custom search API isn't what I wanted.  Is there anyway to pay for search queries on Google?

Re: Google Custom Search API

The Google AJAX API key will be removed, but for the moment it is still working.

Our developers will analyze the new Search API that Google will provide and it will be implemented in our application, if possible.

Anyway, as long as you are using our "friendly to search engines" options, you should have no problems with the queries you send to Google.

Let me know if this answers your question.

Best regards,

Robert
