I need to transfer AWR to a new computer, and need to update it from 8.1 to the latest. Should I update first on current computer, then install latest version & converted data files on new computer?

I'm using 8.1, and had this problem yesterday. Each time I start the app today a popup appears and says its looking for Search Engine Updates. That window stays on-screen for about a minute. Then it disappears and the app starts. I check the About area and it tells me it's still at Build 17, Search Engines Update 846. It obviously hasn't loaded update 847 or 848.
How can I *force* AWR to update - I see no manual button/link within the app?
If there's no way to force an update, do I need to uninstall and then reinstall?
Thanks for help - I really need to keep doing client reports, but can't get any Google rankings till this is resolved.

Following up on my question above: the colored icons don't appear at all in Overview HTML reports displayed in Firefox. When I open Internet Explorer and paste-in the saved report's URL, the HTML report shows blank squares where the icon images are supposed to be, but the images themselves don't appear.
What's going on with these position icons - how can I get them to appear in HTML Overview reports?

how do you get the colored indicators (plus, minus, added, dropped, etc) to appear next to each ranking number? I can't get those to show up in my Overview reports, no matter how I configure them! Thanks. - Don

Problem solved: I tried this solution posted on another thread:

That worked; the VP doubled.

I just checked a second client's AWR listings. My spreadsheet shows a 57% Vis. Pct. in May's update, but now AWR 7.3 gives a 28% VP for the May update.
(This is with all search engines, and all keywords selected, BTW. No new KWs or search engines have been added since the update was run.)

Is there a calculation bug in AWR 7.3? I'm showing a drop in 50% in Visibility Percentage calculations for a site.
I just upgraded from 7.2 to 7.3 a few days ago. This morning, I was about to run an update for a client's site, and glanced at the Visibility screen before doing so. The aggregated Visibility Percentage for the three SEs I'm searching against showed 21%, for the update run on June 19. I couldn't believe it was actually that low, so I checked the stats I put in my client spreadsheet - and the PDF of the June Keyword Report I ran following the June 19 update. They both show the Visibility Percentage was 42%!
I looked further and found that the VP for the May 19 update was, on May 19, 42% -- but AWR 7.3 now shows me that the VP was 21% !
It appears that the counts of top-10, etc. listings are unchanged - the VP has been reduced by 50%, however.
What's wrong here?

I'd like to know how to get *all* of the KWs in my KW list to appear in the KW reports. Right now, only the KWs that show in the top 30 listings appear; how do I change that in the report configuration, so all the KWs show up (even if they're not listed in the top 30 results?) -- Don

I have the opposite problem with my keyword reports: I can't get a listing of *all* the keywords in my KW list in the final report. I'd like to have the KW report show the status of all keywords, whether they're ranked in the top 30 listings or not. However, only a portion of my KW list appears in the KW report.
I can't understand whether there's some configuration feature I haven't set correctly, or there's a glitch in the report. Can you help me? (I'm using version 7.2, if that makes a difference.)
