Triggers

If before using Advanced Web Ranking, you might have had too little information about your website's position in the search engines, now with the huge amount of ranking information on your hands you might feel overwhelmed and need to sort somehow this data by importance.

That's where triggers come to help! Triggers help you sort the wheat from the chaff and build your reports only with the data that is important for you. You can define a condition with the help of the customizable filters and apply it on a report that will be generated only with the data that meets these conditions and only if the conditions are met.

For example, let's suppose you are only interested in some of the changes that occur, such as when a keyword goes up or down at least 5 places in a search engine. All you need to do is create a trigger using the condition "change" greater than 5, then specify what kind of report you wish to receive and you're set. You will then receive a report if the condition is true after each update of the project, or when you manually generate the report conditioned by this trigger.

The reports conditioned by triggers can be created for a certain project or you can have them available for all your projects. The only difference is that for the triggers that are created per project you have the ability to refine the input data, if you are only interested in one search engine and a few keywords for example to match the given condition. The global triggers on the other hand, are restricted to use all the search engines, keywords and websites from the projects they apply to.
